Dialects that I offer: the Swiss German dialects of Zurich or Bern, German and proper German
Standard German for the Swiss market
Since 2011 I have been working intensively with German as it is spoken in Germany. Through many coachings and workshops I have perfected my German so that it corresponds to the form used in Swiss advertising. I can offer everything from German that is pure German by Swiss standards (Track 1) to German as it is spoken by the average Swiss (Track 4).
Dialect of Zurich
I spent most of my youth in the city of Zurich and its surrounding area and still live there today. I am fluent and fast in this dialect! My Zurich German ranges from the hard Zurich dialect (Track 1) to a softer Winterthur dialect or a dialect bordering on Aargau (Track 4).
Dialect of Bern
I did not grow up in Bern, but grew up with Bern German. With my mother's and my wife's Bernese dialect, I am familiar with various facets of Bern German. I call my variant a "softened Bernese German". That is why my Bernese dialect cannot be clearly assigned to a region. It extends from Bern (Track 1) to the Solothurn border (Track 4)
English & English with Swiss accent
I only offer English as a foreign language speaker. As you can hear in track 1 of the playlist, my Swiss origin is not obvious, but audible. I can also offer explicitly bad Swiss English - this can be heard in track 2.
