VPS, the Swiss voice over association
By Andy Zimmermann, voice over artist
From the first day I set myself up as a freelance voice over artist, the question arose whether I should join the Swiss association of professional voice over artists (VPS). On the one hand I think the organisation makes a great deal of sense, because like any association it represents our interests and supports its members.
As always, though, there is another side to it. The most obvious one is being tied to the VPS rates. So that I can set my own rates in line with the market, I have so far not been a member of the VPS-ASP voice over association.
